The Curtis Museum is dedicated displaying the fascinating local history of Alton. Spanning over 100 million years, there is so much to learn at the wonderful place as you explore all the displays covering prehistoric times, Roman times and the Battle of Saxon in 1643, plus much more! Kids will love the Gallery of Childhood, which exhibits 18th century toys, dolls and books.
