About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

There are over 40 buildings to explore dedicated to the industrial and transport history of this area. Explore fascinating exhibits and take the narrow gauge railway to the railway exhibition halls. Visit the working print shop, lime kilns and the interesting radio and TV exhibition. See traditional craftspeople and let the kids have fun in the playground. There are great nature trails to follow and picnic areas to relax in. Look out for fun children's activity days, craft days and steam days held throughout the year. This really is a brilliant all weather attraction that all the family will enjoy visiting.

How To Get There

Directions

By car: The B2139 passes the door, and our car park is next door to Amberley Station. By train: Amberley Station is on the Arun Valley line which runs from London Victoria to Arundel and then on to Bognor Regis, Chichester and Portsmouth. Please check the timetable carefully as not every train stops at Amberley.

Tips

My children love coming here! There's so much to do and see - the train that goes around the site and the old bus to ride on, all included in your ticket price. Plus you can have a go at printing and see other crafts, and try your hand at experiments in the electricity exhibition. They have a small playground but we've never even found it as there is so much else to do. Loads of events too so check their website before you plan your visit. As a family, our favourite day out.
