Bring the family to this interesting museum or curios and art, the collection spans from the 14th Century to the 20th Century in 20 impressive galleries and three floors. The collection was started in the 19th Century by John Bowes, with collections of paintings, ceramics, furniture and textiles. There is a dressing up area, quizzes and interactive exhibits all to keep the kids entertained. The grounds and park are full of things for the kids to do ask about the orienteering course and family backpacks available at reception.
