About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
Arlington Court is situated in the thickly wooded Yeo Valley and surrounded by formal and informal gardens. There is a working stable yard, which houses a collection of carriages and horse-drawn vehicles. Inside the grand victorian mansion is fine antique furniture and an eclectic collection of memorabilia. If you're an animal lover, don't leave without visiting the Bat Room. The parkland is especially important for bats, providing flight lines from the house to their feeding areas. In the basement, from May to September, visitors can view the comings and goings of Devon’s largest colony of Lesser Horseshoe bats via the newly-installed ‘batcam’.
