Where better to take the little ones out for the day than the zoo! Exmoor Zoo specialises in small animals in particular, many of which are endangered, such as the golden-headed lion tamarin. It achieves an educational fun-factor through the use of hands-on and interactive activities. It is surrounded by picturesque views and maintained gardens and has something for everyone plus there are lots of activities in the summer including meeting the animals and even getting the chance to hold some!

Great Family zoo. Need to ensure your good with hills or slopes as some of the walking could be hard if your knees aren’t good. Good area for picnics. Great for children.
