About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

Located in the centre of Bath, the Roman Baths & Pump Room are the remains of a 2,000 year old bath house and temple from the Roman era. Built next to the country's only hot spring, the site still flows with natural hot water. Characters in full costume can be seen every day. There are four main features: the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, the Roman Bath House and the Museum. The museum is home to wonderful artefacts including Roman currency coins, a ilt bronze head of the goddess Sulis Minerva, discovered in 1727 and also the central image of the Gorgon's head. All this and more will provide you with an incredible, interesting and educational day out.
