For an educational and memorable day out bring the family here to explore Battle Abbey and Battlefield, the site of the 1066 Battle of Hastings. Learn about this famous battle in the fascinating visitor centre that has CGI film and interactive displays to engage everyone with the history. Whilst you walk around the battle field you can pick up an audio tour which brings to life the battle and you can visit the Abbey and stand on the spot where King Harold is said to have died.

Directions

Take the A21 north from Hastings to Battle. Then exit left on to the A2100 and continue to the Heritage site.
