Kelsey park that is loved by many today was opened 100 years ago in 1913, but it has much history to give it that wow factor. Its a smaller park than some, but that doesn't mean that its not a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the high street. The park offers something for everyone with a separated children's play ground, a visitors centre, a cafe, a beautiful lake that is home to some beautiful wildlife such as birds and squirrels. The lake runs through the centre of the park to give you a beautiful view of the ducks and the island that is home to over 20 pairs of nesting herons that are just metres away from the lakes banks. There are designated areas to walk dogs that are beautiful for those who enjoy tree walks with the peace and quiet of nature. The park is sure to be a great day out for the whole family. It also offers crazy golf and tennis for you to enjoy if you would like to do a bit more than relaxing.

Absolutely love this beautiful, tranquil nature park. The kids love feeding the squirrels and geese, as well as the stunning lakes with wildlife everywhere you look. Good play area with Punch and Judy shows in the summer and the food is fab. The kids never want to leave!
