These impressive mines are great for families to explore. Pick up one of the audio visual guides before exploring the mines and you will learn about the life of a Victorian copper miner. The underground world is beautiful with winding passages, enormous multi-coloured chambers full of stalactite & stalagmite formations and copper ore veins, which contain traces of precious metals. Out of the mines there are some above ground activities include an adventure playground, the chance to pan for gold, metal detecting and a new bouncy castle.
