This would be great for either babies in buggies or much older children. The reason for this is that the paths are not very wide, I had a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old with me. We had to walk single file so the children didn't get stung by the nettles or get too close to the quick sand! It would be a nice place to take the dog for a walk but pretty stressful to take little ones.

A good day out for all the family if you like walking. You can end up walking a very long way!!! Lovely lake with sections that are great for feeding the ducks. Would be great for dog walking. The visitor center isn't great, just a gift shop and small cafe, but you can walk round to beeston rylands where there is a lovely pub that serves food.
