About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
For a museum dedicated to the story of Billericay, head to The Cater Museum with the whole family. The 18th-19th Century building is packed with stories of life in historic Billericay from its people to local business' and industries. A highlight of the museum is the Leisure Display, showing how our forefathers amused themselves before the electronic age. Items include a collection of lantern slides, an 18th century tobacco holder, stereoscopic pictures and early playing cards. With displays of Roman artefacts, needlework and all the different rooms in the house, you'll be spoilt for choice.
