About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

Known for its association with JRR Tolkien, Sarehole Mill was the inspiration for The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. There are displays based on the author's childhood, which movie fans will love. The Mill is the only working survivor of Birmingham's many mills. The pond is a great place to spot some gorgeous wildlife, including mallards, herons and moorhens!
