This is the perfect place to bring the family before you discover the beauty that is the Shropshire Hills. Learn all about the landscape, its people, its places and its history and heritage. Look around the Secret Hills exhibition where you can meet a mammoth and look inside an Iron Age roundhouse. (admission charge) There is a gallery where local artists and craft people show their work, a cafe where you can relax with a coffee or snack and a craft room where at the weekends and holiday children can make something to take home. The centre backs on to the 30-acre Onny Meadows, which has riverside paths, wildflowers and woodland. Alternatively you can follow a waymarked walk into the countryside.
