Tips

Amazing place, kids loved it

Fabulous day out, so interesting to see how people lived & worked

Took the children here in Summer. Was completely free but you can leave a donation which is a great idea because ours were fascinated for a good couple of hours. We even went down into the coal mine. The tour guide made it very interesting for both children and adults alike. There is plenty to see and do. You could actually picture and feel what it must have been like for a miner all those years ago. Well worth the visit. Will be returning with more family.
