Explore the eerie remains of this infamous prison, learn the stories of it's past from prisoners who were executed here to the fact that it once held The Crown Jewels. The Jail you see today was built by the prisoners who brought the 20,000 tons of granite from Bodmin’s “Cuckoo Quarry” and has a restored 'execution pit'. Maybe not for the younger children but a good activity to do no matter the weather.
