Old down Country Park is a pleasant place to bring the kids for a day out. Visitors can meet some some adorable animals in the Animal Encounters section; rabbits, guinea pigs, ponies, chickens and even pygmy goats! Take a relaxing stroll along the country walks, enjoying the stunning views and also check out the Victorian walled garden where you'll see a lovely mix of fruit and vegetable lawns.

North Bound Exit the M5 at junction 16 and take the A38 to the traffic lights at Alveston, here turn left towards Thonrbury at the Hyundai Garage and the next left opposite the Ship Inn. Follow the road for two miles and turn right opposite the football field and take the second exit on to the estate. Such a lovely place to spend the day. Stunning grounds, lots to explore, great area of toddlers with trampolines/bouncy castle, then another huge play area for older children (and adults!)
The animals are a huge hit with my kids.
