About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

The Georgian House is an 18th century, six storey town house, which has since been restored and redecorated for visitors. Step back in time to get a feel for what life was like hundreds of years ago. Built in 1790, you'll discover the house displayed as it would have been lived in by its owner John Pinney and his enslaved African Pero. There are 11 rooms all with exhibits including the kitchen, the housekeepers' room, as well as an exhibit depicting John Pinney's involvement in the sugar trade. There are no toilets or cafe at the Georgian House Museum

Tips

Get a free bus map - It's tricky to find for non Bristolians. Great free way to pass an hour, our youngest (4) rushed us through, but it is a fabulous insight to how all the Georgian houses looked,
