This fabulous museum is located amongst the back drop of the gorgeous New Forest National Park. There is much to see and do here including a visit to the Apple Orchard where you can have a refreshing glass of Beaulieu Apple Juice, with the apples pick straight from the orchard. The Maritime Museum offers fascinating displays and exhibitions telling the history of this 18th century village shipbuilding village. Relax on a Woodland Walk where you can take in all the sights and sounds. you'll see the many tree species that were used in the construction on Nelsons warships, as well as the fabulous wildlife living there.

Our postcode for your satnav is SO42 7XB. Take M27 exit junction 2 and follow the brown and white tourist signs towards Beaulieu. At Beaulieu Village, follow the brown and white tourist signs to Buckler's Hard.

Tips

We had a great day out visiting the village and museum. The staff were friendly and helpful and I learnt so much in the museum about the villages past. The pub in the village was cosy and served a great g&t!
