Dartmoor Otters & Buckfast Butterflies is a great place to take the whole family! Visitors can wander around a specially designed, undercover tropical garden, and where free-flying butterflies and moths from around the world can be seen. There are three offers to be seen, the native British otter, Asian otter, and North American otter. There will be a keeper on hand too, whom you can ask many questions and learn all about these playful little animals. It is not just otters and butterflies to see, but you can also see terrapins and the amazing leaf-cutting ants! These little workers are fascinating and you can watch them carrying up to ten times their own weight! Watch them as they go about their lives and study the fabulous colony at work.
