About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
This modest looking building is a hidden treasure that houses an epic series of large-scale murals, by the acclaimed war artist Sir Stanley Spencer. The chapel was built to honour the 'forgotten dead' of the First World War, the series was inspired by Spencer's own experiences as a medical orderly and soldier on the Salonika front. Outside the chapel there are beautiful garden with a traditional orchard and wildlife meadow that the children will enjoy exploring. Throughout the year there are numerous events for families so make sure that you check out the website.
