Covering over 42 acres, you and the family have the chance to get away from the busy town and beach of Burnham and relax in this haven of gentle walks fishing lakes and beautiful birds. There is a traditional style play area is designated for toddlers and juniors which is reflected in the varied items of equipment. This includes swings, a slide, a roundabout, see-saw and a tyre swing. For more adventurous older children and adults there is a trim trail which runs parallel to the footpath around the lake. It has various pieces of keep fit apparatus at intervals along its length.

Somewhere To Eat?

There is no shops dedicated to the park itself but there are picnic tables situated by the car park, or for a more peaceful setting, you can picnic on the grass further into the park. Its perfect for those bluebird days.

Toilets are situated within the park.

A large car park extends from Marine Drive to within 100 feet of the lake and it is totally free.

Directions

Junction 22 off the M5 towards Highbridge. Turn left for Highbridge and at mini roundabout turn right down Burnham Road. At next mini roundabout, just past a garage, fork left down Marine Drive and car park entrance is on the left. Or from Highbridge follow signs to Burnham, turn left at mini roundabout down Burnham Road and continue as above.
