With 23 acres of restored parkland to roam and explore and attractions there is lots to guarantee a fun family day out. Visit the Tourist Information Centre to discover all there is to do in the local area. The Activity Park is open all year around and caters for all ages, There is a specific area for the younger children to play in safely which provides multiple activities including climbing, hiding, crawling, sliding down and array of others to keep them busy all day. Just by the activity park there is a small ball court for the sport types to play a game or two. Throughout the grounds there are three permanent orienteering courses with different levels of difficulty that you can enjoy. There is a Miniature Train will take you and the kids around the award winning heritage gardens. Inside the table service café for the little ones there is a toddlers soft play area, with soft cushions, matting, activities and games.
