A small and interesting museum based at Caernarfon Airport. A former wartime base and also the birthplace of the RAF Mountain Rescue Service. There are plenty of aircraft to look at a Hunter, a Sea Hawk, a Vampire, a T-bird Harrier and a Whirlwind helicopter plus aircraft engines, Some of the planes the children can even climb in the cockpit. There is also a large display of over 300 model aircraft to browse.
