The Whipple Museum of the History of Science is is fantastic place to take the family to see an amazing collection of scientific instruments and models, dating from the Middle Ages to the present. Founded in 1944 by Robert Stewart Whipple, it is home to an array of scientific instruments, apparatus, models, pictures, prints, photographs, books and other material related to the history of science.
