A beautiful historical house and gardens in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the house is still lived in and not like a stuffy museum so the kids can walk around and explore as the guides bring history to life. Outside there is the caterpillar maze, woodland trail, pirate and fairy dens and sandpit. In the summer season there is daily flying demonstrations with various birds of prey (weather permitting). To refuel visit the Tea rooms where you can relax with a tea or sandwich!
