This huge estate is over 647 hectares and is a great place to bring the family for a day out. The estate is divided into four parts Threave House, Threave Gardens, Threave Sculpture Garden and Threave Nature Reserve. The children will enjoy exploring all parts of the garden, the play areas and discovery garden. There are five wildlife hides to be discovered where you can watch a variety wildlife including wildfowl, geese, waders, kingfishers and maybe even otters. The Castle will enjoy the visit to the castle as it's in the middle of the river and is only reachable by boat, which you summon by inging a bell on the jetty.
