About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
This delightful museum stands in the grounds of Oaklands Park. It is home to fascinating displays and exhibitions that detail the history of Chelmsford right back to to the time of the Ice Age. Kids can enjoy interactive displays while they learn all about the history of electricity and wireless radios. There is a great collection of Roman and Saxon coins and in the Geology Room you can marvel at the collection of British fossils. Look out for workshops for the kids and other events held throughout the year.
