Bring the family here to step back in time and visit the remains of a Roman villa, where some of the richest people in the 4th Century lived. Go marvel at the mosaics, some of which have only recently been discovered and find out about some of the inventions brought to the country including mosaics, bathhouses, latrines and even underfloor heating. In the museum walk in the footsteps of the Victorian gamekeeper who unearthed the clues that led to the villas discovery. The villa hosts many historic events and activities throughout the year and also download children's activities beforehand, checkout the website for all information.

The Villa is easily accessed from the A429, M5 and M4. It is located north of Cirencester in Chedwowrth. Follow signs for 'Roman Villa'
