Covering 35 acres, West Dean Gardens is well-known for its 300ft long pergola, variety of gardens and garden buildings including Victorian glasshouses. The walled kitchen garden shows the kids where the fruit and veg they eat comes from and how its grown. there's a tree house installation that's bound to excite the kids. Early Spring is the best time to visit to see the emerging displays of snowdrops and crocuses which will set the garden ablaze until early May.
