This local museum has four mains themes in the main gallery associated with the town of Congleton's past: Archaeology and Pre-history, with a collection that spans over 4,000 years, Civil War: series of exhibits explaining the English Civil War, Industrial Revolution, exploring the impact of the industrial revolution on the local area and Second World War, all about the town during the war years. There are touch-screens and talking heads help engage all the visitors no matter their age.
