There are so many fun things to do in this park for a great family day out. The park itself has stunning lakes, lawns and gardens to miles of woodland and bridleways for long leisurely walks. Visit the Tilgate Nature Centre which houses a huge variety of animals from endangered species to farmyard favourites. You can watch the animals being fed at certain times of the year and there's also children’s quizzes and nature trails with a prize at the end. Tips

My whole family love this place! Great for all ages

A beautiful day out

We had a fantastic day out, they have now started charging to enter the farm but it's only £1 for children 2-16 and £2 for 16 and over. My kids really enjoyed meeting Olly the owl they were able to give him a stroke the handler was really nice and friendly. You could really see her love for Olly. We took our own lunch for a mini picnic but brought some chips in the cafe. They were £2 a bowl good size and very tasty. After the farm the children enjoyed playing in the park.. If your looking for a bit more of an adventure Go Ape has now set up just outside the park. We did not do it this time but we will be back for a go. Great day out
