This striking castle is a fortress of large proportions. The ruins contain over a mile of town walls, which are great for exploring and climbing over. The castle perches on top of a steep hill and looks over the medieval town. There is a children's quest for them to complete and there's plenty of information around the place explaining the castles history. They hold events at the castle throughout the year so check the website for the latest.
