About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

Bring the family to this traditional workhouse museum to enjoy a fascinating journey through the story of rural Norfolk. You'll find a thrilling woodland playground, historic workhouse and traditional working farm with rare breeds of animal. This was a former 'house of industry' for the poor and then a workhouse, there are now exhibitions documenting the rich history of the buildings. The farm was once used to grow the produce needed to feed the inmates at the workhouse. Now it demonstrates traditional farming techniques. You might even be lucky enough to go on a horse and cart ride around the farm.
