This volunteer heritage railway is a great place to visit with the family, especially if you little ones love trains. You can travel through the heart of the Norfolk countryside in the 1950's heritage railcars, you can even book to have a cream tea whilst on board one of the steam trains. The main station is in Dareham, but there are also stations at Yaxham, Thruxton, Hardingham, Kimberley Park Wymondham Abbey Halt. There are special events throughout the year, please check their website for the latest.

Dereham Station is well signposted by Brown tourist signs in Dereham, It is located just off the A47 which runs from Great Yarmouth & Norwich or Peterborough and Kings Lynn.
