Independently owned by the Dorset Natural History and Archaeological Society, The Dorset County Museum is a fantastic place to learn about Dorset's history. With ever changing exhibitions, you can always rely on it for a great and educational day out. There are exhibitions on archaeology, geology, fine art, social history and photography, to name a few. The Museum gift shop offer lovely souvenirs to remind you of your day and the tea room have a delicious selection of homemade cakes and scones.
