About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

Hardy's Cottage is a small cob and thatch cottage, which was once home to novelist and poet Thomas Hardy. Since its building by his great-grandfather it has changed little. Such famous novels as Under the Greenwood Tree and Far from the Madding Crowds were written here. The beautiful cottage garden is delightful and you can enjoy the wonderful landscape, which surrounds the birth-place of Hardy.
