The East Kent Railway is a fantastic hidden gem deep in the Kent countryside, and offers great value days out for families on board the lovingly restored vintage trains. They have 17 acres of woodland walks to discover, as well as cafes, museums, miniature and model railways, and of course, a 4 mile round trip by train.

Hidden gem. Reasonable price, great ride on the train, £1 Thomas flags from the shop, cafe with lovely tea and cake, mini train, model railway and kiddies play area. We had a lovely afternoon.
