If your family are interested in aviation and planes then bring them to this volunteer run museum that is based around the original control tower of the former RAF Dumfries. There is a large collection of planes, memorabilia and artefacts including a selection of uniforms, rescue equipment and objects recused from crash sites. The children will love being able to climb into some of the planes.
