Calderglen Country Park has so much for families to see and do and really is a fun day out. With nature trails and walks, Ornamental Gardens, a Tropical Glasshouse and even a Children's Zoo, you really will be spoilt for choice. The children's zoo is home to cheeky meerkats, monkeys, and very noisy Kookaburras and is amongst the beautiful Ornamental Gardens. Let the kids run riot in the Adventure Play Area, plus there is also a toddlers' play area for the little ones.

Strathaven Road(A726), approximately 2km from the town centre, and is clearly sign posted. From the town centre, heading south, simply turn left off Strathaven Road (A726) at the end of the dual-carriageway.
