About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
The whole family can enjoy a ride on one of these superb miniature steam trains around the one mile track. The park has a five-acre lake where nature and wildlife may be seen in their natural habitats and there are the tea gardens to refuel the family. The children will enjoy letting off some steam in the adventure playground.

A VERY recommended family day out. The Unlimited Family train ticket was worth every penny with the kids pestering for "just one more ride". The trains are amazingly detailed and the gentle 5 minute trip is suitable for kids of all ages (Our group was 5 y.o. girl, 11 y.o. boy and 13 y.o. girl ). Even on what was a VERY busy day there was never more than a 5 minute wait for the train ride and it looked like on even busier days they have a second platform and probably run two lots of trains at a time.
The setting is fantastic, with geese and other wildlife to watch, and the grounds are in immaculate condition. A willow maze, was another little highlight and the kids adventure playground burnt off all the energy.
We stopped for lunch and the food is basic (Baked Potatoes, Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, tea, coffee, juices and ice creams) but acceptable. Would very much recommend it.
This is an outside attraction, so is subject to the weather, if it's cold go wrapped up, if it's warm use sunscreen, you know use yer common sense!
Would we go back? Kids still talking about it the following day and when we are in Eastbourne next it'll be on our "to do" list.

Nice trains and clean and tidy, but no indoor cafe so out in the freezing cold having to feed a baby, outdoor play area good but still outdoors, all the model trains have to pay 20p to watch them go for 30 seconds.
go on a hot sunny day.
