This dramatic building was built to defend the South Coast from Napolenoic forces over 200 years ago. It now houses a huge military collection and has plenty to explore, there are beautiful views and a great little cafe to be enjoyed too. There is plenty to keep the children occupied including a dressing up box, quizzes and there are family events planned throughout the year.

Directions
Take the A259 west from Hastings to Eastbourne. The museum is located at the end of the A259 next to the Treasure Island Adventure Park.
