Based in what were the mining offices that owned the local pits is this fantastic visitor centre where you can learn all about the famous English novelist, poet, playwright, essayist, literary critic and painter D. H Lawrence. In the exhibition there are plenty of interactive features to keep the children as they learn about this incredible man, you will see many artefacts that belonged to Lawrence and learn about his influence.
