This is a wonderful urban greenscape where there is a shingle beach next to the lagoon, a lagoon plaza which has a cafe and a splash park with jets for the children, lots of scenic walks and there are The Kelpies to see the worlds largest equine sculptures weighing over 300 tonnes each. You can get a tour of The Kelpies where the informative guides will explain all about them.

Tips

Great place for kids and walking the dog. Huge play park for kids. Water activities available and they have a water park play area too. Wee cafe for ice cream, hot drinks etc. and lastly you have the kelpies which is not a long walk. They do offer boat rides now.
