About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

This school was built by the famous architect Charles Mackintosh and was attended by the children of Glasgow from the early 1900's to 1979. Visit the school and find out what education was like during the reign of Queen Victoria, two world wars and beyond. Kids can dress up as a pupil from years gone by and join in with sessions where Horrible Heidie, the fearful headmistress will take everyone on a tour of the school. There are plenty of exhibitions, workshops and family trails to enjoy too.
