Not far from Glasgow are these stables. They offer a wide range of facilities for horses, ponies and riders and situated in 200 acres of rolling countryside. There are plenty of paths if you want to go for a hack, two outdoor all weather riding arenas and an indoor arena. They offer lessons, hacks, own a pony days, led hacks for kids and lots more

How To Get There

Directions

From Edinburgh Take the M8 towards Glasgow and exit at junction 2 for the M9 towards Stirling, After 20 miles take junction 8 and branch off towards Glasgow. Take the turning along the A8011 Cumbernauld heading toward the town centre. From here follow the signs to Palacerigg Country Park. Before you reach the park do a left turn up a hill, after one mile you will see the stables sign. From Glasgow From the M8 (towards Edinburgh) exit at junction 13 to Stirling. Stick to the right hand lane towards the town centre. After 1 mile you need to take the slip road towards Airdrie, when at the next roundabout turn left than right, follow the signs for Palacerigg Country Park. You will see the stables sign posted after one mile.
