The People's Palace and Winter Gardens are set in the oldest public space in Glasgow and are great places to bring the family. Inside the palace it tells the stories of the people and the city of Glasgow from 1750 - the end of the 20th century. Marvel at the collection of historic artefacts, painting's, prints and photographs. They also have films and interactive displays. The displays are about the dismal life of Glaswegians and the models really show how harsh life use to be in the city. Bus Catch the First Bus services 18, 64 and 263 stop to London Road Subway St Enoch is the nearest and is around a 15 minute walk. By train The museum is a 15 minute walk from Argyle Street, Bellgrove and High Street train stations.
