Tips

A fabulous day out, wasn't sure what to expect when I bought a Groupon voucher but my two children (aged 4 & 8) had a wonderful day here. There is lots of open space to run around, a very interesting and informative tour of HMS Alliance and lots of hands on activities in the display rooms. There is also the added bonus of the purpose built 'busy boats' play centre which is perfect for under 5's, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere means we stayed just in there for 2 hours!! The museum is a 5 minute drive from our house but it took us 8 years to visit, certainly won't be waiting that long to go back!!
