For a great active day outdoors then visit Bedgebury Forest for cycling, riding adventure play and the Go Ape (also listed on this site). The National Pinetum has over 12,000 tree specimens spread out over 320 acres. There are plenty of walks that you can take around the forest, the adventure play will keep the children entertained for an hour or so and you can hire a bike to go along the cycle routes.
