About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
Built in 1842 to shelter the town's visitors as they took the famous waters. At its most popular, the Pump Room attracted 15,000 people, one of whom was Tsarina Alexandra of Russia. In 1913, the annexe was added to cater for the ever growing amount of visitors and is now home to the permanent exhibition. You can discover some old spa treatments and also check out some old-fashioned shops.
