A great day out for all the family here! The house is stuffed full of interesting objects and paintings, part castle/part Georgian Wing it's quite unusual. You can take a guided tour that explains about the castles 800 years of history. Outside there are beautiful gardens for everyone to explore with stunning and unusual plants, woodlands and lakes and the children will enjoy the exciting adventure playground and walk along the Jungle Walkway. The Children's Woodland Trail will keep them occupied; they have to find all of the clues, solve the riddles and they will win a mini prize or try and escape the maze.

We had a fantastic day with 2 under 5s. They loved the raised walkway through the plants and completing the fairy door challenge. We paid a £1 extra each and once completed the children received a certificate and prize. We didn't go in the castle which was by guided tour, but still plenty to do.
Cafe was priced but had fabulous Spanish themed food.
